Supra Footwear has certainly been busy over the last couple of months in designing, creating, and bringing into fruition 6 new styles to their men's Supra Skytops sneaker line. Ranging from their black and white Indy NS03 to their in-your-face lime green Valder 02, they have managed to expand their urban, street, punk style in a way that makes you want to spend the $70 per pair whether you have held that particular style before or not.

Continuing on with a look into Supra’s 2010 spring collection, the TK Society is next up to be featured. The high-top model will come in five colorways over the next few months including the brashest of the bunch, a Blue Crackle with neon green sole as part of the TUF line. The shoes begin their release today, January 15th and will release the 15th of every month until March.

As one of Supra’s most understated designs, the Jim Greco signature Thunder will see the release of the following five styles. In keeping with this season’s tonal theme, each of the five new colorways features a monotone upper. The Black Canvas and Black Suede versions are carried over from past seasons while the three other versions, Burgundy Suede, TUF White and Grey Canvas are new for 2010 spring.

The number of styles has increased, but keep in mind the overall quantities have decreased. I encourage bringing in new styles and experimenting with new trends to give our consumers something fresh. I still implement an open-to-buy strategy and play the re-order game hard. Unless it’s a style with proven sell-through and stays consistent with what’s currently hot, we need to keep our inventory levels as healthy as possible.
